What I'm Doing Now

I'm currently back in Cape Town, South Africa after a longer stay in Southeat Asia. I'm growing my digital marketing agency, Posmay Media. If you're interested in working with me, please get in touch. Read more about what I'm doing now and check out the vlog I recently launched.

How I Chose My Own Adventure

I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. My core heritage is South African, German, Irish and a bit of British. I can speak English, German, and Afrikaans.

From a young age, I dreamt of becoming a professional footballer (i.e. soccer). In high school and university, I spent most of my time playing, writing, recording and performing as part of my own punk rock bands - Skwirmish and Spratch. I play guitar, sing and am learning to play the drums.

During my early teenage years, I got access to the Internet and have never stopped learning and exploring. I developed a passion for web development, design, online marketing, tech, and entrepreneurship.

I spent 4 years studying business and marketing at the University of Cape Town (UCT), after which I opted against the 9 to 5 corporate job and instead launched my own digital agency, Posmay Media, in 2008.

I've worked on various projects - mostly client work and numerous of my own passion projects including Freemadic & SkimZA. I love travelling, photography, video production, surfing, skimboarding, the ocean, trains, nature, animals, vegetarian food, movies, and music.
